What was your main objective to educating yourself? What have you achieved with the knowledge you gained educating yourself? At what cost did you educate yourself? Do you regard additional education an advantage?
These are just some questions that we may need to ask ourselves every now and then. We are so busy with just living our lives that we sometimes cannot see the wood from the trees. All of us have different opinions on the subject of knowledge or education and some of us may just be happy with what we have and where we are now.
But isn't is strange that when we choose to expand ourselves with the latest technology or something that is of interest to us, we explore any opportunity to educate ourselves about it. Is that not a form or ongoing self education?
But do we ever keep ourselves educated on what we really need to for a sustainable financial future or to improve who we are. Some do so at any cost and achieve different levels of accomplishment while others find it just to hard to contemplate.
Well I suppose we are all human and it takes all sorts to make up the world we live in. But when the majority of people around us are in damage control or a global event starts to get our attention through the media, I wonder what we ask ourselves then? What needs to happen for us to wake up and start to think of change? I believe for some, the only thing that will get our attention or wake us up each time no fail, is when the situation or crises involves MONEY. OUR MONEY and everything that we spend OUR MONEY on to get.
What do we do then? Do we just sit with our head cupped in our hands, shrug our shoulders and say, well I am fine it will never affect me?
But are we really fine?
We maintain or health so we don't get ill or so we can perform at a peak in everyday life or at our jobs. We maintain our cars by servicing it on a regular bases, so it can reliably drive us where we want to go. We take care of our homes so that we and our families can live in comfort and safety. We ensure our possession so we can replace them. We feed ourselves so we can live. We put ourselves into debt so we can live, eat, play, buy stuff or maybe just to impress others. We update our computers with the latest versions of software to improve it's performance. We do many things to live daily. But do we feed that product we acquired while at school, college, university or at work? OUR KNOWLEDGE!
What version of knowledge are you running on now? If you are faced with decisions to make regarding your finances, lifestyle, work, wealth, self and family, just how do you measure up?
Or do you have the means to pay someone else to resolve it for you.
I realise that there are somethings we have no knowledge of and have to seek the advise of those who have the necessary expertise to solve our problems. But they come at a cost right?
But I bet there are instances where we say to ourselves, "gee, if only I knew that, it would never have cost me so much to correct in the first place!" or "wow! that was easier that I thought, if I only knew what to do about solving the problem I could have done so myself!"
OK, so does that mean we always have to learn by our mistakes?
NO we don't!
We are the only one's that can do something about it.
WHY DON'T WE UPGRADE THE VERSION OF THE KNOWLEDGE WE HAVE SO WE CAN PERFORM AT OUR PEAK!
Now is the time to do so. There's no better time like the present. If cost is what stops you from doing so or have stopped you in the past, then ask yourself the following: "what did I pay for my mistakes out of my own pocket in the past?" then add them up and take a look at the cost!
Now ask yourself, "What am I willing to pay to educate myself NOW to fix my situation?"
We attend School to learn to read and write by following a set curriculum. But as adults living in the real world, we seek the knowledge from those who have the necessary experience, skills and solutions to learn to deal with everyday challenges we are faced with.
We have a product that was painstakingly put together over 17years for the purpose of educating you by those experts in their fields, with the necessary knowledge, experience and skills. This product never stops growing it's wealth of knowledge for us to use.
Maybe its time for us to look at why we stopped growing our knowledge!
